Sandra Sinicyna
Trainee Mortgage & Protection Advisor
Sandra has worked in financial services since 2007 and specialised in property-based finance for the past 3 years, previously working as an administrator for an investment firm in London and more locally for a mortgage brokerage. Having obtained her CeMAP qualifications in 2022, she is currently training towards her CAS Mortgage & Protection Adviser status. She really enjoys working closely with Westway’s fantastic advisers and Sandra’s main goal is to help people achieve their dreams through property, ensuring an organised and smooth end-to-end customer experience from the outset. In her spare time, Sandra loves going for walks with her little boy and husband, swimming and spending time with her friends. She is also a qualified scuba diver and dual linguistic speaking Lithuanian and English.
Charlotte Flatischler
Paraplanning & Administration Support
Charlotte studied Fine Art, graduating from the University of Edinburgh in 2020. She joined Westways in 2022, having had previous experience within the management of another family run business in Orthodontics. She has now switched her focus to financial services with a view to building a long-term career. Charlotte assists us with para-planning and mortgage support, aspiring to undertake her CeMAP qualification and become an Adviser one day. Outside of mortgages, Charlotte enjoys artistic endeavours as a practicing artist and model, spending as much time as possible in nature with friends and family.
Olive West
The Office Dog
Olive is known as the go-getter of the family, especially when playing fetch. She has a keen interest in sticks, bones and anything that moves in the wind. If you've had a bad day or you're feeling stressed then she is the lady to help, always happy to meet anyone who is part of the Westways family. Just so you know, that isn't a picture of me sleeping on the job, I am merely resting my eyes.
Alex West; CeMAP
Head of Client Experience & Mortgage Consultant
Meet Alex, a seasoned property industry professional with over a decade of experience. After spending three years in sales and negotiation roles at estate agencies in London and Kent, Alex realised his passion for helping clients achieve their property dreams through sound financial advice. He became a Mortgage Consultant and has worked with both large corporate companies and independent firms. Alex co-founded Westways Financial, a company known for providing bespoke financial solutions to clients. In his spare time, Alex enjoys being a father to his two boys, undertaking DIY projects, and indulging in his passion for golf and computer gaming. With his expertise and friendly demeanour, Alex is the perfect person to call if you're looking for a reliable financial advisor to help you navigate the complexities of the property market and achieve your goals.
Karl West; ACA, CertICM, CeMAP
Financial Director & Mortgage Consultant
Karl has over 10 years within the financial services industry for both Barclays PLC and HW Fisher & Co. Having started out as a Chartered Accountant (ACA), he then became a Global Cash & Liquidity Specialist (CertICM) before finishing his corporate career as a Business Development Director in the Insurance sector. Westways Financial was born when Karl decided to switch the corporate world in pursuit of supporting others’ with their property dreams. A passionate poker player, massive Arsenal fan (for his sins) and someone who much prefers to meet his clients for a round of golf whenever possible. He's already planning The Westways Golf Championships for this year so we'd love to see you there!
Trevor West; PCIAM, IAC, CeMAP
Head of Partnerships
Trevor has spent all his working career in Banking covering both retail and commercial lending before embarking on a career in financial wealth management looking after primarily Entrepreneurial clients and those in the professional and entertainment sectors. Since leaving the industry in 2018 he has successfully managed a holiday let business and continues his passion of renovating properties with his wife. Trevor enjoys musical theatre, tennis, golf (the more scenic version!) and watching his football team, Arsenal - when they win.
Emma Marsden; CeMAP
Mortgage & Protection Consultant
Emma completed her Economics Degree at Liverpool University in 1990 and retrained as a mortgage adviser in 2021. Having worked with a high-end brokerage in central London she has joined Westways Financial to continue her passion in securing the best mortgage deal for clients and advising on a range of financial services. In her spare time, she enjoys baking sourdough, theatre and long walks in many of London's parks. She's a trained chef so expect lots of food tips and off-the-cuff recipes, too. Please ask away!
